GPRS Interview Questions
& Process

I went through three interviews. First, a call with Talent Acquisition about salary, what the job entails, and if I'd be a good fit. Then, an interview with the Director of Marketing to discuss daily tasks and company culture in more detail. Finally, an interview with the Director of Marketing, Lead Graphic Designer, and Lead Web Developer where they asked technical questions and discussed the assignment. They hired someone else and didn't tell me, which felt pretty unprofessional after all those interviews.

I was initially contacted by Jacob, who mentioned I was on a shortlist for the role. A few days later, I spoke with the director of marketing. They asked general questions about my background, my thoughts on Webflow versus WordPress, and my salary expectations. I was then informed I was one of the final two candidates and would be given a test. The test involved translating a Figma design into a Webflow landing page. This took me over 18 hours to complete, consuming most of my weekend. I ensured it was pixel-perfect, accessible, and met all their requirements. Following the test, I met with the entire marketing team, but they barely discussed the landing page and shifted the focus elsewhere. Two weeks later, I followed up via email about their decision but received no response. A week after that, I followed up again and was told a decision would be made the next day. The following day, I got an email stating my application status had changed, but the link was broken. I had to go to their job board to discover the position was filled. There was no direct communication from the team, just a cold status update. This experience showed me a lot about how they treat people. If this is how they treat candidates who invest over 20 hours in their process, I can only imagine how they treat their employees. While it wasn't my dream job and they use a poor platform, I feel like I dodged a bullet.

The whole process took about 3 weeks from applying online to getting the offer. First, there was a quick phone call, then a longer phone interview a few days later. After that, I had an in-person interview about a week later. I got the job offer about a week after the face-to-face meeting.

Got invited for the interview by the employer. There were multiple interview sessions, each one of a different kind. However, the interview wasn't difficult and anyone could handle it.
