It was a really chill and welcoming interview. The team was super friendly and seemed focused on finding candidates who were a good match and capable of the role. They're looking to understand people on a personal level.

The District Manager reached out to me for an interview. We met at a store that had a restaurant, and the interview took place while customers were dining. The Manager was very thorough and asked complex questions. He maintained a relaxed atmosphere but expected professionalism. The questions were direct and required detailed responses. The hiring managers follow a company-provided guide with many questions and take notes. The guide is pretty standard, asking common interview questions found online. My advice is to research the company and common interview questions, and be ready to answer them on the fly. Highlighting your customer service skills and growth potential will significantly improve your chances.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by GPM and wasn't aware of them beforehand. The interviewer, who ended up being my boss, didn't ask many important questions to see if I was a good fit. He actually ignored it when I said I 'struggled with computers,' missing a chance to ask about my computer skills. No questions about my computer proficiency were asked before the job offer. After starting, I found out the job really needed strong Excel skills and constant use of several internal platforms. I asked for help and was told none was available. I was later fired for not having enough computer skills. GPM didn't do proper due diligence during my interview or hiring process.

Behavioral Other

This was a terrible interview process. I talked to some experienced people who didn't seem to know how to interview. One Director asked why I was laid off, which I thought was odd given all the recent tech layoffs. He mentioned his nephew still works at the company that had layoffs and implied the layoffs might have been performance-related. It was a really uncomfortable situation overall.
