Behavioral

It was a basic interview, focusing more on candidates capable of overtime and possessing good working environments. The interview covered personal capabilities and management skills, with fewer technical questions. The manager was good and friendly, but the position requires more management experience and daily overtime capability.

First, the recruiter will give a call to do a standard screening based on your resume and ask for other necessary details. Then, a high-level manager from Hong Kong will conduct a Skype interview for another standard screening based on your resume and ask for more details, while also explaining the company's background. After that, a local manager and recruiter will have a face-to-face meeting to ensure we're following HR guidelines for hiring. Finally, the recruiter and client will review notes and discuss candidates before the recruiter conducts reference checks.

Had a face-to-face chat with just one HR person. They asked pretty basic stuff about my background and what I've done before. Also had a 40-minute writing test, covering both Chinese and English.

Group Behavioral Other

It was surprised in the beginning and funny in the end. 1. They invited me for the interview on 3 p.m. When I came, I saw 10 other candidates. It was group interview, but nobody said about it. 2. First step - 5 min interview, introducing. After that 7 candidates were rejected. People came from other Cities for 5 min interview? Are you serious? You can not use Skype in 2018? 3. Next step - interview with psychologists and managers. They don't look for manager, they look for right psychological type. 4. Offer. First offer less than salary, which we discussed by phone, in 3 times. And they said "please, your turn!". Hey, I've already told you about my salary expectation. And now I should discuss this unreal figures? We finished at 9 p.m. Six hours. 90% of time was wasted - I just were waiting, when other candidates finished their interviews. When I asked, why they did not explane, which kind of interview it be, they said "If we say about group interview and how long does it take, you wouldn't come to this interview". Guys, it is bad idea to start interview with deceit.
