Case Other

The hiring process was really disorganized, cold, and unprofessional. Even though I was referred, HR didn't schedule a call, they just asked when I could finish a case study within 24 hours. I had to follow up twice before they even sent the assignment. After I submitted it on time, there was no acknowledgement, no feedback, and no closure, even after I followed up again by email. I was basically ghosted in the end. Every case study takes a lot of time and effort. Not giving even a basic update is discouraging and makes it seem like GovTech is more interested in free ideas than actually evaluating candidates. For a government body that should be transparent and fair, this was super disappointing.

Other

The interview process was unnecessarily difficult and no effort was made to give feedback when requested. HR asks for feedback of the experience at the end. The old way was better. Skills can be polished.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The take-home test is the same for every level.
  • The time requested for the take-home test is unreasonable for lower levels.
