This was a very impersonal phone call with a dry and blunt recruiter. Her voice was a bit distant, so I had to ask her to repeat herself a few times. I had reviewed the job description requirements carefully and explained my experience. The recruiter stated that 5 years of experience is a hard requirement, and then said they'd keep my information on file. She talked until the very end and didn't give me a chance to ask any questions. She was extremely rude and clearly didn't check my resume, otherwise she would have seen I didn't have 5 years of data experience and could have saved us both time by cancelling the call. I have a screenshot of the job description that doesn't mention a 5-year requirement. Also, they couldn't match my current salary as a Data Analyst. I will not apply here again.

The interview process was pretty good, one of the better ones I've gone through in the 4 months I've been job hunting. It started with a 30-minute chat with HR over the phone. After that, I spoke with the hiring manager, and then had about two more interviews with people on the team. They got back to me with a decision about two weeks later.

The recruiter didn't call at the scheduled time. When I called them, they acted like I didn't have an interview scheduled and asked for proof. The person I spoke with was quite rude about it. I have screenshots of the confirmations, but I'm no longer interested because this seems like a bad sign of what's to come.
