Interviewer had to reschedule which was fine, but showed up to the interview in a rush to get off the call. After 15 minutes of a scheduled 30 minute interview, they tried to get me off the call and wrap things up without leaving anytime for questions. I pushed back and insisted that I use the rest of the time for my questions. They agreed, but answered me in extremely brief, non-descriptive explanations that did not illuminate anything about the company or role. Super weird.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online and didn't hear back for three weeks. Then I got an interview request. I gave my availability and was ghosted. I sent a follow-up and two weeks later, a different recruiter got back to me. I gave my availability again. The first interview was okay. They asked me for a second round with the hiring manager. He was really blunt and kept cutting me off before I could finish my answers. I'm not sure if he was just tired of interviewing or what, but it felt kind of rude. Seriously, believe the reviews about this place. The ghosting was a bad sign. I think I dodged a toxic workplace. I'm okay not getting an offer, but it's tough in this job market with interviews being so rare, so I guess you can't be too picky. But for real, trust the reviews.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a long interview process with significant delays between stages and hearing back. They indicated they were positive about me throughout. I had four interview rounds with the President, Chief People Officer, VP of Sales, and Creative Director. As I neared the end, expecting an offer, I received no communication. After multiple attempts to reach out, I was still met with silence. Things seemed promising until the expected offer stage, after which I heard nothing. Several months later, I noticed the position had been filled. I expected basic professional courtesy to be informed of the decision, but was instead ghosted.

Behavioral Technical Case

So my interview process included chatting with a recruiter, then another sales leader, then the CRO, and finally the HR manager. We talked about my sales background, and they asked me some behavioral and context questions. I also got to ask them questions along the way. It was cool that they were really into the opportunity, but they also kept it real about what's working and what's not. I figured they wouldn't be looking for a new leader if everything was perfect, so I was pretty excited about the challenge of building and growing the team.
