First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Government of Saskatchewan.
Customer Support Representative
The interview was about an hour long and focused on the job description and profile. It included situation and behavior-based questions, like going through the resume, and some customer-focused questions about handling angry customers and admin tasks.
- What's your approach to dealing with an upset customer?
Medical Claims Analyst
The interview process has two main parts. First, you take a test on medical terms. If you pass that, you then have an in-person interview with three people interviewing you at once. It's pretty standard, asking things like explaining ptosis or pointing out the patella.
- In your own words, what are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Trust Officer
It was pretty easy and straightforward. They gave me a written task and then I had a 1-hour interview with a panel of 3 people. I got the job and the offer letter. Just stay calm and answer honestly.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What made you decide to apply for this specific role?
- Could you discuss your behavioral qualifications as they relate to the job description?
Probation Officer
It was a pretty long interview, about two hours, and it had a written part too. A lot of it was about situational questions, like how I'd handle different scenarios. The written part involved getting client details and then outlining what would be needed to build a case plan based on that info.
- How would you react in a given situation based on the provided details?
- Using the client's information, what steps would you take to develop a case plan?
