So after I did the English test, I had an interview for the Business/Financial Analysis Internship. They gave us the questions 15 minutes beforehand and we could write notes. The questions were about my previous experience in Financial Analysis, like: 1) tell me about yourself, 2) what Fin An experience did you have, 3) If you had a problem while doing Fin An how did you solve it?, 4) When you had differences in co-worker opinions, how did you solve it?, and 5) How did you get co-workers to work together?

The interviewers had zero professionalism. They would cut me off after I spoke for about 2 minutes and change the topic instead of listening to my answers. They didn't seem interested in what I had to say and wouldn't seriously answer my questions. They also refused to accept my reference form that they told me to bring. Honestly, if they want good people, they should treat candidates with respect. By about 3/4 of the way through, I was so offended that I lost interest and definitely didn't want to work with the people interviewing me. The questions they asked seemed to have pre-written answers, so if I wasn't saying exactly what was on their paper, I wasn't being listened to. They told me it was going to be a behavioral interview, but instead, they asked me technical questions the whole time. I found this to be very deceptive and quite childish. Overall, it was the worst interview I've ever had. I would NEVER work for the government of Ontario.

It took a while to get an interview call, about 2 months. The process had 3 main parts: a presentation, a written task, and then in-person questions about the job. The whole thing from applying to my first day was about 3.5 months.
