Case Technical Presentation

The interview process involved a case study about different enforcement models and data analysis. The interviewers asked many technical questions related to my case study response, which led to a good discussion. There was also a written part where I had to write a correspondence about the act the ministry was dealing with at that time.

So we had a standard government interview type of thing, plus a written test. You also had to do a presentation. They gave you 30 minutes to prep beforehand. During that prep time, you had to figure out how to split your time between doing the written test and getting ready for the verbal part of the interview. The actual interview was in person, lasted about an hour, and it was a panel interview. They said they score based on if you use the right keywords and industry terms, so the best way to answer is to just talk as long as you can to try and get those keywords in there. After that, there was a background check.

The interview process is pretty intensive. You'll get an assignment related to the role, like making a PowerPoint deck on a policy question. Then, you'll present that deck in the interview and answer about 4 questions that have sub-questions. These questions will be about the job posting and the skills mentioned in it. They might also ask some behavioral questions. You can find a good overview of the process on the company website.
