I had to do a writing assignment that I had 48 hours to complete. Then there was a panel interview where they had a strict list of questions based on the job description, it felt more like an oral exam. Lastly, I had a meet and greet with the Hiring Manager.

It was a virtual interview, with about 2 or 3 people asking questions. They mostly asked about my ability to use Microsoft Office, my experience with geology, GIS, and my physical strength. The people interviewing were really friendly, and it seems like they appreciate it if you're passionate about rocks. I even showed them my rock collection, and they seemed to really like it.

I had a 45-minute phone interview with a panel of four people. They asked me about a time I had a conflict with a coworker and how I resolved it, how I work in a team, and if I've ever led a team. They also asked me to describe my organizational and multi-tasking skills, why I'm a good fit for the job, and to give examples of my decision-making skills and resolutions. I was also asked about my proficiency with Microsoft Office and my keyboarding skills, and if I had any experience or education in the legal industry. At the end, there was a reading test to see how well I can project in open court. They requested three references and a clean background check.

I went through a recruitment agency that forwarded my resume. I did not hear from anyone for months though I kept on asking if they had any news. Recruitment process was very slow and no communication in between the date of the submission until the date I received an interview request 5 months later. The interview had three interviewers who had a list of questions. I was given a copy of the questions 15 minutes before the interview. I also had a glass of water in the room to make me comfortable. I was interviewed by the recruiting manager, an HR consultant, and another team member.
