So, for the Administrative Assistant job, there are two main rounds of interviews. First, we do a screening interview to check your qualifications, how well you communicate, and your organizational skills. Then, the hiring manager or team lead will interview you. This second round focuses on how you prioritize tasks, manage calendars, pay attention to details, and generally fit with the team. Sometimes, we might also give you a quick assessment to see how good you are with software. If you do well in these interviews, you move on to the final steps, which are reference and background checks, and then we'll extend an offer. We want to make sure you've got both the skills and the right attitude for the job.

They asked me about the company, and also typical behavioral questions like 'what would you do in this situation?' or 'tell me about dealing with a difficult employee and how you handled it.'

The process takes a long time and involves a lot of bureaucracy just to get an interview. Different people contact you throughout. One person emails to set up the interview, then another emails to say they'll meet you at the front desk. That person then escorts you to the interview room where you meet and are interviewed by three other people. After the interview, you receive an email from yet another person informing you if you've been accepted into the hiring pool.
