Talent Acquisition Specialist
I had an interview for the Talent Acquisition Specialist role about a month ago. I got a Google Meet invite, but the invite said video wasn't needed so I just called in audio. The interviewer seemed pretty junior and asked questions unprofessionally. She lacked enthusiasm and went quiet for long stretches while taking notes. I never heard back after the interview, so I was ghosted. I don't want to join this talent acquisition team given their approach.
- Can you tell me about your talent acquisition experience?
Recruiter
I applied online and got a 15-minute zoom interview request within a week. The in-person interview was set for three days later. The interview was about 2 hours long and insightful. The interviewer went over the role and job expectations. They gave me some hypothetical client communication challenges to solve. I met some team members and saw how they work and shadowed them on client calls. I was impressed by the team's energy and professionalism. Tempmee has a great inclusive and collaborative culture. I enjoyed learning about Tempmee's vision, although I didn't hear back after the interview.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your recruiting experience?
- How do you define tenacity?
- What are your thoughts on handling client communication challenges?
Account Manager
The interview process was pretty messed up. I got instructions on how to get into the building, but when I got there, the building staff wouldn't let me on the office floor, which made me late and more stressed than I already was. If you're working with a recruiter, don't expect to hear from them much. They'll contact you to set up the interview, but then they'll just disappear with no follow-up or response. The managers seem nice and supportive at first, but that changes fast if they don't think you're a good fit. That's their decision, and it's okay, but some basic communication and professionalism would be good. Also, the customers aren't happy with the product, and you can feel that affecting how the company operates internally. I applied because I needed a job and was planning to keep looking anyway, but I'd honestly stay away from this company.
- Can you tell me about your quota and how you met it?
Training Manager
I had an interview with HR, then the hiring manager. After that, I had to create a presentation video, followed by another live presentation in Miami. It felt like a lot of unpaid work for the candidate, asking for two separate presentations. I was repeatedly told I was the top candidate, but then got a standard rejection email.
- Regarding X, what is your experience level?
- Regarding Y, what is your experience level?
