English Teacher
The interview went well; they were really enthusiastic about hiring me and seemed very passionate about teaching. They were also very eager to help us get settled in the country.
- What makes you want to teach?
Volunteer
I had to fill out a form, and then I was given pre-recorded video questions that I had to answer. It's good to work on your CV and past experiences to prepare. There are also webinars online or on social media.
- What makes you want to join our program?
Project Manager
It was a pretty relaxed interview process. I went to their office in Andingmen and chatted with some of the founders. They asked me some questions in Chinese and then in English to check my language abilities, and then about my past work experience. They got back to me pretty quickly with an offer.
- Tell me about your interest in cultural exchange.
Ambassador
The Gotoco interview was really good, it led to interesting talks about my skills and what I want to achieve. The interviewer was friendly and really seemed interested, which made it a positive and cooperative vibe, so it was memorable. This interview process is also good for students because it's super flexible.
- Tell me about a past experience that would help you in a teaching role.
