First there was an HR interview. Then I had a technical interview with the hiring manager about my product management background. After that, I spoke with two other Product Managers. These interviews focused on situational questions and questions about my past product management work experience.

So it started with a recruiter call from HR for the initial screening, which was professional. Then I had an intro call with the hiring manager, which went well with standard questions. We then had a follow-up call where the hiring manager seemed very negative and uninterested, kept interrupting me, and didn't seem to care about my answers. Despite this, he asked for a third call with a business strategy presentation. I spent 3 days preparing, but then HR called to say they weren't moving forward, and the third interview never happened. It was very disappointing given the effort I put in, and I felt the process was handled poorly by LogMeIn. If you ask candidates to invest time, at least let them present their work.

The interview experience was extremely positive. After the initial recruiter call, I had a phone screen with the hiring manager. He gave me a walkthrough of the product and his team, then let me walk through my product development process. I really enjoyed the conversation and was invited for an on-site interview. The 4-hour interview panel was with the Product Lead, Marketing Director, UX Director, Sr Director of Dev, Director of Dev, Sr Director of UX, and Sr Director of PM. I think all my interviews went well, except for one behavioral question: 'What would you do if someone told you they just do not want to work with you.'
