The hiring process kicked off with a personal call from the HR manager, who wanted to get to know me beyond my resume or online presence. The next interview was on-site and felt really nice. They offered drinks and had a comfy waiting area. Meeting the HR manager was impressive; she was super warm and welcoming, making the interview feel almost like a family chat, asking about my professionalism and personality. The last interview was the best part, feeling like I was being welcomed into a close, tight-knit group, very inviting and professional.

I found this job on monster.com and got a call back two weeks later. The owner interviewed me the next week and we talked about his vision for the role, my experience and how I could contribute. We also did some personality and intelligence tests. After checking my references, I got the offer the following week and accepted.

I sent in my application and they had me do some tests and then I interviewed with 3 different people. Everyone was very nice and professional. The receptionist and even the President were polite to me. The President explained a sales career path to me. This company has been in business for 25 years, has a good reputation and found me through the UGA career center. I am still looking for a sales job and want to apply again when I have more experience. I learned that the salary isn't high, but commission can make you rich, which is great. They also have good training. I've interviewed a lot and this was a good experience, I just wish I got the job.

I applied for the job online and got a quick callback. They had me take an intelligence test. The HR Manager was really eager to get me in for an interview, even that same day. After discussing salary, which was too low, I declined. Things at my current job got worse a week later, so I called them back. I arrived for the interview on time. The first person I met, possibly an S/R person, seemed grumpy. The lobby was a bit rundown with taped patches on the floor and the whole place had a negative vibe; no one smiled. After the current IT guy (who was apparently leaving soon and for whom I was interviewing) fixed my PC, I took another personality test. I interviewed with a few more people who were fine until I met the CEO. He grilled me and gave unsolicited advice, telling me to fix things with my current boss and that he was tired of turnover. He seemed to think people leave jobs they dislike. I didn't get an offer and was happy to leave. Job seekers, be warned!
