The interview process moved really quickly until a potential rejection. After two weeks of no communication, I followed up and was told I'd hear back at some point. It's now been a month with no rejection or update. I've since accepted another role where the recruiter provided consistent updates, highlighting a much better candidate experience. Deepmind was a significant letdown, especially as it was a dream company I had high expectations for.

The interview process was organized and thorough. They provided an interview deck right at the start. There were long waits between interviews, but they did stick to the 4-6 week interview cycle they promised. Each interview was very structured and routine, not really conversational or personable.

The application process was lengthy, involving multiple Hangouts sessions and in-person tests. After applying, I heard back within a month, and the entire process spanned over two months. It went smoothly until I met with the Programme Managers. They were both aloof, uninterested, and showed up late to the Hangouts call. They rushed me through the interview with a dismissive attitude.
