Project Manager
First, you send in your resume and cover letter through the online portal. An ATS or a recruiter will look for keywords and if you meet the basic requirements like experience, skills, and education. This is to filter out people who don't qualify and make a list of possible candidates. After that, a recruiter or HR person will contact you, usually by email or phone, to set up the first interview. They just want to make sure you're still interested and that you're available. The first interview is usually a quick phone screen (about 20-30 minutes) or a video call with the recruiter or HR. They'll check the details on your resume, ask about your salary expectations, if you're authorized to work, and see if you're a good cultural fit and why you want this job. The goal here is to narrow down the list even more before they pass you on to the hiring team.
- Can you describe a campaign you managed entirely, from beginning to end? What was the objective, what actions did you take, and what were the results?
Project Manager
The interview process went really well. The questions asked were pretty standard, and the interviewer was kind. It went really well, although I wish I had prepared a bit more. This happened a few times.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure?
Senior Project Manager
It was a really nice interview process, with 3 stages in total. The HR team was super helpful the whole way. They also gave me a set of questions to answer, asking for specific examples of my past decisions and how my projects turned out. The final stage was a panel interview with five managers.
- What motivates you to join our team?
- What unique contributions can you offer to benefit our team?
- Can you share specific examples of your decision-making and project results?
