First there was a recruiter screen, then a PM phone interview covering product sense and execution. The onsite had 5 rounds: a product design round (very open-ended), a strategy round focused on tradeoffs and long-term thinking, an analytical round about metrics and decision-making, a technical collaboration round to see how you think with engineers, and a behavioral/googlyness round. There was also a "creative" thinking question in between about futuristic tech lol. The questions seemed intentionally vague, and they expect you to drive the conversation, ask clarifying questions, and explain your thoughts aloud. I prepped using reddit, stellar peers, lewis lin, and some mock interviews on prepfully. It was a bit tough but very engaging and rewarding if you make it.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process involved 5 interviews over three days, covering Domain, Strategic Insights, Product Insights, Analytics (Metrics and Estimation), Cross Functional Collaboration, Craft and Execution, and Googleyness and Leadership. The initial hiring manager liked me but passed, and I ended up being matched with another manager in the same organization.

Behavioral Other

It was a weird interview process. I didn't even get to speak with the hiring manager. The recruiter seemed inexperienced and couldn't explain the job. It felt odd and unprofessional. I had a similar experience where both the hiring manager and recruiter said they wanted to move forward with an interview, but then I never heard back.
