First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Goodwin Living.
Occupational Therapist
The process was easy. First, a quick phone interview with HR to talk about the job, when you're available, and if you're interested. Then, a zoom interview with the manager of the department. After that, HR will get in touch to offer you the job.
- Could you tell me about your experience working with the older adult population?
Human Resources Director
I applied for an HR Director role and heard back in about a month. The first interview was a phone call that went really well, the recruiter was super friendly and asked typical questions. A week later, I got invited for a second interview with the Chief People Officer. I sent a thank you after that. Two weeks later I followed up to see if I was still in the running. Never heard back at all, not even a rejection notice. Honestly, as someone in HR for years, that's not how you do things.
- What actions would you take in your initial 30-day period?
Accounts Payable Clerk
Apply for the job you want by sending in your resume, cover letter, etc. Then, check in with the company to see how your application is going. If you get an interview, send a thank you email or letter to show you're still interested. Just keep your chin up the whole time.
- What made you decide to apply for this specific role?
Director of Development
I had a Microsoft Teams interview with HR. It was a wonderful experience; I could see that the organization values their employees and provides programs that reinforce their focus on employees. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience and background?
