Customer Success Manager
I thought the interview process for this company would be awesome and a change from the norm because they claim to sell a better, more efficient interview process for top candidates and a better experience for interviewees. After applying, I got a link to a predictive and aptitude test instead of a personal email, which felt impersonal. I guess I did well enough to get invited to discuss the role. The interviewer was unexpected, and honestly, I should have read the reviews first because they were accurate. They have one person who does the initial interview and decides if you move on. She was unprofessional and asked inappropriate questions. She mentioned she did a deep dive on my LinkedIn and my past bosses, which felt weird, like she was accusing me of being dishonest, and she didn't understand how VC companies work. She needs to be fired ASAP because she's damaging the company's reputation, especially considering what they sell. I can't believe one inexperienced person decides who moves forward based on those kinds of questions. She also admitted their last Head of Success took most of the team with her, which makes sense now.
- Could you tell me the names and positions of your previous three managers?
- On a scale of one to ten, how would each of your last three bosses rate your performance?
- What reasons would your last three bosses give for the rankings they assigned you?
Customer Success Manager
So I just finished up the interview process, and I'm really hoping to get an offer soon. It was a pretty chill experience, more like a chat than an interrogation, which I liked. I met a bunch of people from the team, and everyone was super welcoming. There were two main interview rounds after the initial recruiter chat, and the whole thing took about two weeks.

Customer Success Manager
It was a personality test, HR screening, an assessment and presentation, and then a 4-hour back-to-back interview session. In total, I spent about 10 hours interviewing, not even counting the time spent preparing for the presentation. After the interview, HR mentioned they would proceed with references. Two days later, I hadn't heard back, so I reached out. They said they decided not to move forward with me because of headcount. I'm not sure why they mentioned checking references (which they didn't) or why they had me go through the whole process if there wasn't a spot for me on the team. The team seemed really nice, though, and I was pretty disappointed with how it all ended.
- How would you go about prioritizing customers?
