Childcare Educator
The hiring process is pretty easy and friendly, you can talk to anyone. It can be a bit slow because of the recruitment team. But once you get to management, they do clear, professional interviews and make sure you have a good experience.
- Could you describe your teaching philosophy?
Educator
They will ask for your WWCC and basic personal information first. Then they will ask you some basic EYLF understanding and children's safety questions. Their questions focus on children's safety and the employee's environment.

First, I had a phone interview with the recruitment officer. After that, I had a face-to-face meeting with the Director and the educational leader. At the end of the interview, I had to write down my observations and follow-up activities after seeing a photo of a child.

Early Childhood Teacher
first you submit your application online through the goodstart website. then, HR gives you a call for a quick 5-10 minute phone screening. after that, you'll have an online or in-person interview for about 30-40 minutes with the center director and maybe a performance coach or area manager. they'll also do a reference check with 2 to 3 of your referees. finally, HR will send you an offer, and you'll sign a digital contract.
