Product Manager
The interview process was really organized and kept a good pace. The recruiter got back to me with feedback within a day of each interview, usually the same day. It started with a quick pre-screen, then a phone chat with the hiring manager, followed by a half-day of in-person interviews with folks from product, engineering, and the CEO. Nobody made me feel like I was being grilled. The questions were challenging but fair, covering marketing, product management, and some technical stuff. Everyone was friendly and didn't seem rushed. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me beyond just my skills. They put a lot of emphasis on cultural fit because the company vibe is super positive and collaborative. My advice? Just be yourself and really know the industry and what the company is all about – it makes the conversations flow better.
- What are your thoughts on the future direction of the industry and its potential impact on our company's business and future development?
Product Manager
Applied via their job portal. Recruiter screen followed by HR screen and then two rounds of interviews. The first round covered Product Sense and Metrics, and if you cleared that, you moved to a behavioral round. The recruiter was nice, but I felt the interviewers were not calibrated well. It's a hit or miss on who you get, and the process could be very subjective.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
- What motivated you to apply to GoodRX?
Product Manager
Recruiters here do training sessions where they bring in recruiter interns to calls with the specific intention of not hiring the candidate, but to train their recruiting team. If a recruiter mentions shadowing, avoid it. They are only looking out for themselves. This company is facing an FTC investigation and lawsuit, which is deserved. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate.
- Can you introduce yourself?
