I got contacted by the manager for a phone interview the day after I left a voicemail. He was friendly but also businesslike and gave me the rundown on what the job was about, which is telemarketing to sell season tickets to Goodman audience members. He asked specific questions about my work experience and availability. The call lasted about 20 minutes. He was really thorough and clearly looking for a specific fit, which impressed me because I thought most places that hire telemarketers just hire anyone. At the end of the phone interview, I was invited in for a face-to-face interview later that week, which was also very thorough. Two days after that, I was called with a job offer, but I didn't take it because I got a promotion at my regular full-time job.

The interview process was fast and efficient. I had two interviews: one with my direct supervisor and another with a few department staff members.
