Production Assistant
I've never applied to a network that was SO BUSY that they require me to do a computer interview with a robot. And I've had face-to-face video interviews with ABC, FOX, and CBS Networks. You log on and complete a bunch of "getting to know you" questions. In the email that invites you to the interview process, it says not to be nervous, since they are "just getting to know more about you!" WRONG. How would I NOT move on to the next part of the interviewing process if I was answering questions about my sports background? How were my answers wrong...? Not only is it a TERRIBLE strategy for HR, it's unfair. You get 30 seconds to read a question and about a minute to answer. Next time, how about take the time to speak to your potential employees? If other networks are kind enough to take time out of their day to talk to me, so can you.

Partner Care Services Specialist
The interview was in-person and had three parts. First, I met with a panel of my two future supervisors and three other team members. They asked me personal questions and some fun ones, like 'What song would play every day as you walked into work?', to see if I'd fit in. After about 20-30 minutes, the team members left, and I spoke with my supervisors about my goals, skills, and leadership style. Then, I shadowed a team member to learn more about the role and how it aligned with my skills. I thought the interview was over, but they asked me to stay for a few more questions with the team to make sure we'd all get along, which felt great! My future coworker then walked me out. It was longer than I expected, but in a good way.

HR was horrible and had no empathy. They strung me along for over two months and made promises they didn't keep. They didn't even have an auto-responder for rejections, just silence. I don't recommend this company if you want respect. I got called for a position, had a 2hr interview, then found out it was filled internally. Then I was called back for another department and had a 1hr conversation, and was told I'd find out the next week. Then more silence. When I called to ask about status, I was told they were going in another direction. When I called them out on the lack of response, they said they got 'a little busy'.
- Can you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
Director Call Center Operations
Applied online in July and then got a call for a fit interview in early August. The recruiter was cool and said I was moving on. Got another call an hour later asking if I could come in for a peer interview the next day. That interview went well and lasted about 90 minutes. They said the VP would see me the following week. The VP interview was onsite six days later. He was nice but seemed like he hadn't read my resume. They said a decision would be made by the end of the week and I was the only outside candidate. The next week I emailed the recruiter and got no reply. Two weeks later I left a voicemail with no response. After a month I emailed the VP to gently follow up. He replied right away that an internal person was getting the offer. Super disappointing since I thought I clicked with the team and they even said they didn't have anyone with real call center experience. A message to recruiters: if it's a no, just say so. Being ignored really soured my view of the company.
