First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GOLDPoint Systems.
Product Owner
This role had two interviews. First, I spoke with another product owner. This was mostly general questions. Then, I had a chat with the CEO. This interview focused more on assessing culture fit.
- Could you describe your technical experience?
Account Manager
It was a bit of a strange process. The first calls were actually with other account managers, not management, who were screening candidates. When I finally had an in-person interview, there were a lot of people there, which felt a bit overwhelming. They also took a while to get back to me. After the interview, there was a background check and then an offer was extended.
- How do you manage high-pressure circumstances?
Software Engineer
It was a 3-interview process, each one was under an hour. The first one was pretty much technical, and then the last two were more about behavioral and culture fit. The very last interview was a casual chat with the CEO. Overall, it wasn't too intense or stressful.
- Can you describe a favorite project you've worked on (either personal, academic, or professional) and tell me what made it your favorite?
- What challenges did you encounter while working on that project, and how did you overcome them?
- Could you explain the meaning and usage of the C# keywords "public", "void", and "static"?
Instructional Designer
We had a quick chat at a career fair. About one to two weeks after that, I went in for the main interview. First, four developers interviewed me in a big classroom. After they were done, they led me to the top floor into a big office where several executives interviewed me. The whole thing lasted about two hours, but I felt way better about the job and really excited to work there.
- How would you go about teaching someone how to use Microsoft Word?
