First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Goldman Marketing Group.
Marketing Coordinator
I had a first chat with HR to go over the job and company details and make sure I was still into it. Then she sent over a 3-part assignment to do, which took a few hours. When I sent it back, she said the hiring manager would reach out within two weeks. It's been over a week now, with a holiday, so I'm waiting to hear from them.
- What makes you interested in this particular position?
Analyst
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds. Initially, there was a round with an analyst, followed by two rounds with associates, and finally, three directors interviewed me. The interviews covered behavioral, technical, and fit aspects, with each session lasting approximately 30 minutes. I received feedback two weeks later through a phone call. Throughout the process, my fit and past experience were frequently discussed.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
Management
They sent questions via email, and I waited a few weeks for a reply. Then I had an hour-long phone interview. After that, I was set up to meet with Risa and her business consultant. The interview seemed to go really well, and they said I'd hear back in a few days. But then, nothing. I got totally ghosted. It was pretty shocking, but after seeing some other reviews, it wasn't that surprising. It would've been nice to get an email back after I took the time to do everything though, felt unprofessional and like a waste of time. It really felt like they were interviewing me on how to fix their problems and then just took my ideas (they were writing notes like crazy the whole time) and used them without needing to hire me. Super weird all around.
- What would be your solution for employees not wanting to adhere to standard work hours?
Vice President Operations
I applied for a VP Operations role. The process included answering questions, a phone interview, and then meeting with the hiring manager and her management consultant. The time between stages was longer than expected. After positive interactions in the interview phases, I never heard back. I think it's basic professional courtesy to let candidates know the outcome, especially when you reach the final stages.
