Claims Specialist
Had a quick 30-minute call, it was nothing major. They went over the job role. Asked a few simple questions and that was it. I think they must have a lot of turnover because I had a great interview experience but then heard nothing for over a month, and then they reached back out.
- How do you handle your tasks and clients?
Claims Administrator
Got an email asking about my internet speed, computer specs, etc. I sent that over and they set up a quick phone interview to ask about my background and if I was still interested in the role. Then, they scheduled a Microsoft Teams interview. Before the second interview, I had to fill out an application with contact info for four references. Both interviews were short and easy with basic questions. I mentioned the Glassdoor reviews about the company hiring for a generic role and then moving people to different jobs after training. I asked both interviewers about this, and they didn't give a clear answer. I also tried asking specific questions about the role, but they couldn't answer and couldn't even confirm if the job I applied for actually existed. After the second interview, where I said again I wanted the data entry job and not a call center job, I got an email saying I didn't get picked. Other people on Glassdoor said this company lies to get people to apply, and my experience makes me think that's true. I don't think the job I applied for was real, just a way to get people to apply for call center jobs.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What kind of work environment do you need to do well?
- What do you need to be successful?
Accounting Claims Specialist
I applied online for the remote Accounting Claims Specialist job, and the process was pretty straightforward. First, they emailed to ask about my current work-from-home setup, like if I had dual monitors, ethernet, or a headset, along with basic questions about my start date and an internet speed test. Then came a brief phone call discussing my work history, which was like an intro first interview. After that, I scheduled my initial video Teams interview for later that week. During the Teams interview, they asked a few situational questions, but nothing too surprising if you're prepped. They also threw in a curveball question, like asking what I'd do with a million dollars. The recruiters were super nice and pleasant throughout. If they wanted to move forward after the first video interview, they set up a second video interview with the recruiting supervisor a few days later. This second interview felt easier; it focused less on situations and more on my personality, what I could contribute to the team, and my hobbies. They also talked about the training and different roles, asked about my salary expectations (though most roles seem to pay $17/hour), and gave some company info. A neat detail is that the online listings are general, and they assign you to the role that best fits your skills after interviewing you. Post-second interview, they checked my employment history, contacted four professional references, and ran a background check. The following week, I got an email for a final phone call to accept the offer and learn about the next steps (i9, training, etc.). Now I'm onboarding and starting a month after my initial email.
- What would you do with a million dollars?
Claims Negotiator
The interview process was good. I first spoke with a supervisor who was nice and gave me information. Then, the Director interviewed me and asked similar questions. They seemed attentive and patient. I thought it went well. I was surprised I didn't get an offer right away. I sent a follow-up email the next day but heard nothing. I called on Wednesday and spoke with the Director. He didn't seem pleased and told me they weren't offering me the job. I asked for advice, but he wouldn't give any. I wished them well.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strength?
- What would you say is one of your biggest weaknesses?
- How would you handle a very angry customer?
