It was a pretty chill process. I chatted with the recruiter and the hiring manager, and they asked some straightforward technical questions. Later on, I met with senior managers and directors who seemed really focused on my background and what I could bring to the table.

It was a pretty standard process. First there was a call with the recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager. The third round was a group interview with 2-3 people, and the final round was an interview with the VP of the team. The whole thing took about a month.

My interview with the Golden State Warriors was frustrating and, frankly, disappointing. It felt like they couldn’t fathom that a woman could excel in an Account Executive role, despite my sales experience and transferable skills. The offered pay was also shockingly low—just $18 and some change—far below the standard for this type of role and well short of what a skilled professional deserves. To top it off, the interviewer’s behavior felt petty and unprofessional. After the interview, they “unfriended” me on LinkedIn, an immature move that left a poor impression of the team’s culture. It seems the Warriors operate with a “boys club” mentality that undervalues women’s contributions and reinforces outdated stereotypes. I’d caution other experienced women to approach with low expectations.

I sent in my Resume and CL on their website back in Feb '18. HR gave me a quick phone screen a few weeks after. Then I had a second round with prerecorded video questions that I had to answer on video. A few weeks later, I had my third round with the Director and VP of the department. The whole thing took about 2 months. They didn't communicate much between interviews, but I guess that's understandable since it was so competitive.
