First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Golden Peak Media.
Graphic Designer
It was a Zoom interview and they were very nice and conversational. I met with the Creative/Art Director and the head marketing person. They explained the role and responsibilities thoroughly, but ultimately felt that I was overqualified for the role.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
Senior Events Manager
The interview process went great, but then I got ghosted after two conversations with their team. I never even got an automated email. I showed a really strong interest in the position and was very disappointed in how it turned out. I was also significantly overqualified.
- Can you share your previous experience in event management?
- Could you describe a challenging situation you faced while managing an event and explain your resolution?
Intern
I talked to a super nice person for about fifteen minutes. They asked standard questions and were really pleasant. I felt good about it afterwards.
- What makes you want to join Golden Peak Media?
Digital Editor
The hiring manager gave me a call directly. We skipped the HR screening. The call brought up some shady marketing tactics and comments about the previous person in the role, which made me doubt taking the job. I decided to pull my application.
- Do you have an interest in crafting?
