I interviewed with the store manager and APAC Operations manager, which was very casual and inviting. They focused more on personality than scenarios. My next interview was with the head of the sneaker makers for APAC, also very relaxed, with a mix of skill and personality questions.

I waited a month, and then had 4 interviews where they kept reassuring me that everything was going well, that I was good, and even told me to turn down other job offers because they were very interested in me. Then, with a cold and detached email, they updated me that I wasn't hired. Incompetence personified, and I'd add, they were badly dressed too.

The District Manager contacted me via text for an interview the next day. When I arrived at the scheduled time, I was informed the manager was in a meeting and would be out shortly. Over 30 minutes later, they emerged, seemingly surprised as another candidate was scheduled for the same time slot. I was then told my interview was at 3:30 PM, despite our text exchange confirming a 2:30 PM time. The DM then went outside to talk with someone for 20 minutes. The whole interaction felt less like an interview for a high-end brand and more like one for a fast-fashion retailer. It was a negative experience overall, and I decided to withdraw my application as the DM was exiting the office. The process lacked professionalism and seemed poorly organized.

The recruiter was almost an hour late, even though they knew I had taken time off work to join. The interview was a quick 10-minute chat where they just repeated what I had already read on LinkedIn and didn't ask anything about my studies or experience. They proposed a challenge (two projects to be done and submitted in 4 days) to proceed and get to the next stage, without considering my work commitments. The salary offered for a full-time internship in Milan was ridiculously low, only feasible if I was already living there with my family.
