I applied online and got contacted by GGU the very next day. They thought I could be a good fit for the position and shared the salary as $48,000 in their first email, asking if I'd like to interview. I was surprised because that's less than I'm currently earning, but I told them if we could still interview to see if it was a good match and if my experience fit what they needed, we could discuss salary then. They replied that there was no flexibility on the salary, so it was a take-it-or-leave-it situation. So... I decided against interviewing. How can anyone afford to live in San Francisco on $48,000? Especially for an assistant director role! I don't understand how GGU expects to attract and keep good employees with such low pay.

Applied online and got an email to schedule a telephone interview. Then, I was asked one question: 'Why GGU?'. After that, I received another email for an in-person interview. I was asked a couple of questions like strengths and weaknesses, major achievements, etc. Make sure you dress properly and answer with full confidence, which means a lot to the team.

After submitting my resume, I had a quick phone call interview. I then spoke with both of the program's directing attorneys and was given an offer. After I was hired, one of the directing attorneys was assigned to supervise me. She oversaw my work throughout the semester, and we had weekly one-on-one meetings to go over my project progress and any challenges I ran into.

First, there was a screening interview with HR, where they asked me generic questions. Then, a group interview was set up. Following that, there were two panel interviews. One panel had 3 members, and the other had 2 members. Based on what most team members said, they seem to care about the work culture, and the only good thing is that it's located in SF.
