First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Gold Standard Diagnostics.
Lab Technician
I had a virtual interview with the Lab Manager and then a second interview with the rest of the team. It was a very casual and nice environment. Everyone was nice to talk to and understood that I have basic entry-level skills.
- What makes you interested in this role/company?
Intern
When I was an intern, the hiring process was really simple. The department didn't have a marketing team and they needed some help. I had a chat with the VP of Business Development, we talked about what the team needed, and then I started working.
- What was your college major?
Quality Assurance Specialist
After a quick call with HR, there was only one in-person interview. They talked about the job and company, but the questions and the vibe felt kind of unprofessional, like they thought I was an idiot. I got an offer the next day.
- How would you handle a non-compliant charge?
Application Specialist
The interview process was very pleasant and straightforward, handled entirely by an external company. It involved a few interview stages: first, a general chat with the recruiter, followed by meetings with the head of the department, the sales director, and finally, the main director. The interviewers were very friendly and focused on assessing candidates' experience and overall attitude, with soft skills being considered more important than years of industry experience.
- Could you share your experience relevant to this specific role?
- What are your career aspirations moving forward?
- What lessons have you learned from your past employment, and how might those apply to our organization?
