I had a pre-screening with the recruiter that went really well. She was super friendly and insightful. She scheduled me with one of the hiring managers and that interview also went well. Both the recruiter and manager reassured me that I would be hearing back with a decision by the end of the week. End of the week approaches and nothing. I’ve been emailing trying to get an update and still nothing. I see this is a common practice here at gohealth just ghost the candidates they don’t wish to move forward with. I’ve never had a company ghost me so I can’t lie I felt a bit hurt by it. Then again they are interviewing so many candidates and probably don’t wanna go through the hassle of reaching out to all the people who interviewed either way this company sucks.

I had two team interviews, and the second one was just as positive as the first. The first manager sent me a thank you and scheduled the second interview, and was supposed to set up a third that same week. But then three days passed with no word, so I followed up via email, and she ghosted me. I then tried to follow up with the first hiring manager, but he ghosted me too. It felt unprofessional for a corporate role to not respond to a potential candidate, especially when I was contacted three months after initially applying. I was really excited about this opportunity, but it's disappointing when leadership ghosts candidates, especially when I've been in high leadership roles and never ignored anyone.

Got past the initial screening and then had to do a work sample that took up all the time available. After the second interview, I heard nothing and had to chase the recruiter. When I finally got the rejection, the recruiter went silent when I asked for feedback. It seems I'm not the only one who had this experience, based on Glassdoor reviews. If I'd checked reviews earlier, I would have saved myself the time.

So first up there was a call to chat about your work background, lasting about 10 minutes. If it seemed like a good fit, then the hiring team would set up another call, which was about 45 minutes long. The person interviewing me was super nice, I didn't feel stressed at all. The questions were pretty straightforward. They went over what a medical scribe does, the full-time hours, and the training involved.
