The interview process started with a recruiter call. Six days later, I had an online interview with the hiring manager. An in-person interview was set for the next week, but it got cancelled the day before because the hiring manager got sick. It was rescheduled for another week later. When I got to the Broomfield office, nobody was at reception, and I couldn't reach anyone to say I was there. I waited for a long time, even as people came and went. Eventually, the Director of Talent Acquisition showed up, gave me a tour, and took me to a small conference room where one interviewer was waiting. Another person joined via video, and later a director came in. The hiring manager joined last via video, and the others left, leaving just me and the virtual hiring manager. After the interview, I waited again for someone to get me. After about ten minutes, a junior talent acquisition person walked me out. This whole thing felt like the talent acquisition team was disorganized and not really into it, making me feel like my time was wasted. A week after the interview, the Director of Talent Acquisition emailed saying no decision was made yet. I waited again. After two weeks, I emailed the hiring manager for an update, but got no response. Six weeks passed with no contact. I reached out to the Director of Talent Acquisition to find out what was going on. She replied quickly, saying they had chosen someone else a month ago and asked if I hadn't received the email, which I hadn't, even checking my spam. I’d suggest Gogo Business Aviation hires a new talent acquisition team because the current one seems unprofessional and uncourteous.

The interview felt really well put together and planned out. The hiring manager was nice, knew their stuff, and acted professionally. I was there for about 2.5 hours and met with a few different people from the team. One person seemed a bit off, like they were trying to put me down by making jokes about my current job title and my resume. When I asked them about what a normal day looks like, I just got a really unhelpful response like, "What is any day like for an analyst?". I didn't get the clear picture I wanted from that, but everyone else on the team did a good job of explaining the role to me. In the end, it just wasn't a good match for Gogo or for me.

So after I applied, a recruiter reached out within about a week to 10 days. We chatted about the job details like where it was, the team, and the pay and benefits. A few days later, maybe 3 to 5, I interviewed with the hiring manager. Then, I had an onsite interview with a bunch of people: the team, some peers, the HR person, and the hiring manager's boss. I got the offer about a week after that last interview.

I was initially contacted for a phone interview with two managers, which went well. Afterwards, I was invited to Broomfield, CO, for a full day of interviews. The day started with a friendly tour of the facility, followed by discussions with several managers and a lunch. The rest of the day consisted of multiple other interviews. Everyone I met was friendly and seemed helpful throughout the process.
