Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at goFLUENT.
Learning Consultant
I went through 3 interviews: first with HR, then a team leader, and lastly a manager. Each interview was 30 minutes long. It felt like they didn't read my CV or were trying to trick me, as they all asked me to talk about my past experience, basically repeating what was on my CV. Coordination was poor. After the interviews, they made me complete a document with questions about job situations, and they tried to avoid discussing salary because it's the lowest in the company. They said they'd let me know their decision, but weeks have passed and they've gone silent. It would have been fine if they just rejected me, but after 3 interviews and a test, it feels very disrespectful.
- Can you elaborate on yourself?
- Can you share a challenge from your past experience and how you dealt with it?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Learning Consultant
I had a short interview where they asked me personal and professional questions, and also why I'd like to be a learning consultant. The interviewer was really nice and seemed interested in my work history. But, I felt like they weren't totally upfront about how things move forward and grow within the company.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Learning Consultant
The interview did not cover relevant questions. It focused on general and personal aspects. It was not professional at all and did not focus on the job responsibilities or provide information about the job or the organization.
- Tell me about your age.
- What is your marital status?
- What hobbies do you have?
