It wasn't too hard. Typical PM interview questions you find anywhere - no curveballs. Three interviews. It wasn't too bad. The reason I declined was because they underpay their employees by a far margin.

The interview process involved two main rounds. The first round included interviews with the Hiring Manager, a Product Manager, an Engineering Manager, and a Design Lead. The second round was with a Senior Vice President. All interviewers were from the team I would be working with. Each interview lasted approximately 45 minutes, and most were conducted via Zoom.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Got the job through a referral, so I skipped the recruiter and went straight to the hiring manager. This meant I basically had to manage the whole interview process myself. I ended up talking to five people in total: a marketing director, a UX director, two product directors, and a Sr. Dir. of Product.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you tell me about your experience with conversion optimization, including how you decided which tests to focus on first?
  • Describe a time you had a difficult partnership, what the situation was, and how you worked through it.
  • Tell me about a situation where you didn't have direct authority but had to work with other teams to get things done. How did you get them to buy into your project and include your work on their roadmap?
