I had an interview process with Globus for a Project Engineer role that involved 3 main stages. It kicked off with a recruiter screening call, which was pretty basic, just checking if I met the minimum job requirements. Then came a more detailed call with the hiring manager, where we reviewed my resume and discussed my experience in relation to their needs. After that, I was invited for a final, 5-hour in-person interview at their HQ. This final stage included a design project presentation to the team and then about six 30-minute sessions where I was questioned on my engineering skills, medical device experience, and general behavioral stuff. They also mentioned a design project would be involved, and I had to present it. The whole experience after the final interview was rough; they kept delaying the decision, gave mixed feedback, and eventually, after a month, I was told I didn't get the job without clear reasons. Also, their reimbursement process for the interview visit was not as advertised, only covering the hotel and not travel or food, which was a hassle.

So I had 6 rounds of interviews. It started with a recruiter call, then I spoke with the recruiting manager, then the hiring manager. After that, there was a panel interview, then an interview with a staff engineer, and finally another chat with the hiring manager again. Some interviews were in person and some were remote. The people I met with, the panelists and managers, were really nice and professional.

It started with a phone interview, just a 15-minute screener. Then, about two weeks later, I had my first in-person interview. I met with HR for about 5-10 minutes to discuss typical questions like accomplishments and why I want to work there. After that, I met with the director of the group for an hour, focusing solely on my resume and experience. My second in-person interview was two weeks after that. I spoke with a senior project engineer for an hour about my resume and work history. Then I met with the director again for Q&A about the company, culture, and work. The third in-person interview was a week later. I met with a mechanical engineer for 40 minutes and got technical questions. I then met with another mechanical engineer for another 40 minutes, again with technical questions. Finally, I met with the director, who went into more detail about the job's responsibilities and ensured I was still interested.
