So there were 3 rounds of technical interviews. The first was an online test, they used AMCAT for core Java. Then a face-to-face technical interview, and finally a telephonic technical interview. I have over 9 years of experience, with 3+ years specifically in Selenium. They focused a lot on core Java. I didn't get any questions on collections.

The interview process started with a telephonic call and then a client interview. After that, Neha from HR arranged a meeting with Varadh, the HR Manager. He made a fool of the joiner by stating that they need the original degree and mark sheets for verification and ISO audit purposes. They would keep the mark sheets and return them only when the employee leaves the company. The candidate also has to fill out a bond stating that the employee must give a 3-month notice period, but the company can terminate the service at any time.

I was contacted by a recruiter via Naukri. The process was quite extensive. Initially, there was an online AMCAT test in Hyderabad with 12 questions in 21 minutes, focusing heavily on in-depth core Java concepts. Following that, I had another online round with two Java programming tasks to complete and run within 40 minutes. After passing these, I was told a GSR would contact me. It took about 20 days for the GSR to reach out, during which they explained the role and that I'd be working at a client's location in Chennai. Then, I had a 50-minute telephonic interview with the GSR, covering all major core Java topics. Subsequently, I interviewed with the client for about 45 minutes. After that, they invited me to Chennai for the final in-person interview. At the client's office in Chennai, I underwent two technical rounds. I then received a confirmation call stating all rounds were finished and my profile was selected. An offer was expected after HR discussions.

The interview process was cool, people were nice, and questions were average. The screening took about 3 hours on one day, including a group interview. Be confident; interviewers love confident people and speaking about future goals more is emphasized.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • How should I prepare regarding algorithms and data structures?
