Applied online and heard back from the HR Manager. Then I went into the office for interviews with three upper-level managers. After that, I got an email and a phone call saying I got the job. Then I had to take a drug test and pass a background investigation. Once I passed those, I could start working.

The interview process, which took place in 2001, involved a phone interview, followed by a one-on-one meeting, and then an interview with two IT management individuals. It was quite relaxed, mainly involving me discussing my previous work and them sharing the company's background and the project details. They seemed like pleasant, sensible people.

I was contacted by an HR staff member from the company via LinkedIn. After some back and forth emails, we scheduled a phone interview to talk about the position. I didn't know much about the role since the recruiter reached out to me. We had a discussion for about 50 minutes about my background and the job details. The recruiter seemed impressed, but we both realized the role wasn't a good fit for me.

The hiring process consisted of three interviews. Two were with HR, and the last one was with the VP of the sector. They were punctual and professional. It wasn't a typical interview with questions like "3 pros and 3 cons of your personality," but rather direct questions about my work experience.
