The interview process had 3 rounds in total. Two of these were technical rounds, and one was a culture fit round. Each technical round involved solving a single coding problem with follow-up questions. It was a typical coding interview where the candidate used data structures and/or algorithms to solve a problem while interacting with the interviewer, including asking for clarification.

I applied through LinkedIn for the Developer Productivity role. The recruiter contacted me, and after a quick chat, set up my first online technical (coding) round. It went great. Two days later, the recruiter confirmed I passed and asked if I'd come in for the remaining interviews. I had two more onsite interviews: a coding challenge and a low-level design round. Both felt very positive. Two days after that, the recruiter called to say the rounds were good and they wanted a final online round with their India Head. This call involved situational questions and a small coding challenge. I felt optimistic about an offer. A few days later, the team requested my documents (payslips, salary expectations). Then they ghosted me. When I called for feedback, they said my profile was 'on hold' for two weeks. It's frustrating when big companies don't give clear answers. That was the last communication, then silence. No feedback, no response, just 'on hold'.

  • Can you solve coding challenges that need data structures knowledge?

A recruiter reached out to me. We started with a tech screening round that involved a middle/hard Leetcode style problem. After that, I proceeded to the onsite interviews. The onsite consisted of 3 rounds: two coding rounds and one systems design round. One coding round was similar to the tech screening, another Leetcode style problem, while the other was more open-ended and practical, where the interviewer let me code the whole time and only checked in at the end. Then I got an offer.

  • How would you implement an action for a common mobile game?
  • Solve a middle/hard Leetcode style problem.
