First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Glaukos.
Senior Scientist
Had 9 interviews total, with 6 of them being on-site. It was a 4-hour round trip to get to the office, so I had to take the whole day off work and manage the other zoom interviews. They never paid me back for the mileage. I was told I was really close but didn't get the job. Felt like a waste of my time and money. The company culture hype doesn't seem real. If this is how they treat people trying to get a job, what's it like when you're actually working there?
- Can you describe a situation you encountered and your response?
- Tell me about a technical challenge you've overcome.
- What's your approach to solving technical issues?
Manufacturing Operations
I met with a manufacturing supervisor. They told me about their cleanroom work and gave me a tour. Then, we talked about my resume and they asked me some questions based on it. They were really nice and made me feel welcome.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work here?
Senior Marketing Manager
The hiring process was very simple and fast, involving an initial 30-minute chat with the recruiter, followed by a 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager. After that, I had separate 30-minute interviews with two panel members. I really appreciate how helpful the team was in answering all my questions.
- What is your interest in joining Glaukos?
Clinical Research Associate I
The interview process included several steps: starting with a recruiter call, followed by a technical interview with a panel, and finally an interview with the director of clinical operations. The technical interview involved three of the CRA managers (one was supposed to be there but couldn't make it), and they each spent time asking me technical questions about my experience and working in Clinical Research.
- Can you define what an adverse event is?
