This was the worst, most inefficient, and disrespectful interview process I've ever been through. The recruiter was nice, though. Week 1, I had an interview with the recruiter, then moved to the hiring manager. Week 2, the phone interview with the hiring manager went well, and I advanced to on-sites. Week 3, I had on-site interviews with 4 senior leaders, which also went well, and they said a decision would be made soon. Week 4, no updates, just 'no news yet'. Week 5, they said the team liked me but needed to interview one more candidate. Later that week, they told me they liked me but I didn't have enough experience for the role, offering a lower-level position instead. Disappointed but respectful, I agreed to interview for the lower role, and they said I'd have to go through the entire process again. I was surprised, thinking two on-sites and five interviews should be enough to know if I'm a fit for the lower role. Still, I agreed to do it again. Week 6, I had my third set of on-site interviews with 4 more people. It got worse. I interviewed with the hiring manager for the third time to get more info on the lower role; she said it shouldn't take long as she was impressed before. Then, an interviewer with a bad attitude started by saying 'This is such a bad day for me...oouuff but anyway,' making faces and rolling her eyes at my answers. She questioned my abilities and found it 'strange' that I was leaving my successful previous job. Then, I joined a video conference for two more interviews. Audio issues delayed us, shortening the time. The first interviewer had no questions for me due to time constraints, just answered mine, while mentioning his stress and lack of support. I tried to calm him down. The next interviewer also had audio problems and limited time, asking only a couple of questions. A few days later, I got a call saying they were interviewing another candidate and would then decide again. After three on-sites, nine interviews, and considering two positions, they still weren't happy. Week 8, I received the call: they 'loved me and my experience' but found a better fit and apologized for what I went through. This process was disrespectful and humiliating, especially from a company that advises others on employer branding. Treating candidates like numbers for eight weeks, suggesting and rejecting roles after appalling interviews is not how it's done. I was a big supporter but this experience made me delete their app. Glassdoor failed me.

First I had a phone chat with the Head of Sales. Then my info went to the Enterprise Sales Manager. We set up a call and I had about a 45 minute phone interview with them. A few days later, I got invited to come to their office in Sausalito. The in-person interview involved a deep dive into my sales methods and forecasting abilities. It was a really open, professional, and honest chat. The people and the vibe were awesome. It’s great to see folks who genuinely enjoy their jobs.

I went to a Glassdoor meet and greet and got a recommendation from an employee there to continue. I got an email from their California office and did a phone interview. It went well and they said I needed to do a predictive index and then an onsite interview. I emailed back that I finished the PI and gave dates and times for the next interview. They didn't email back for a week, and when I followed up, they asked for more dates and times. When I scheduled again, they restarted the process with another phone interview with the same person, who forgot they had interviewed me before. I asked if it would be the same as the first phone interview, and they said they forgot and would email me back about the onsite. Another week passed with no response, and after another week, I got an email saying they had already narrowed it down. I wonder if I could have continued if they hadn't made me do another pointless phone interview where they just told me they forgot it happened.
