The interview process was well-structured and professional. I had a phone screen followed by a technical round and a final discussion with the hiring manager. Questions were challenging but fair, focusing on problem-solving, technical knowledge, and situational judgment. Interviewers were friendly and supportive, creating a positive atmosphere. The interview process had two main stages. First, the hiring manager called to set up an interview. He was really nice and the chat was great. After that, there was a panel interview. The first part of that was a case study with a Product Manager. He seemed super bored, totally different from the hiring manager. The question was about how I'd name a train line. I asked about the business goal. He just laughed and said, 'You tell me.' I tried asking more questions, but he basically told me to make everything up myself and didn't answer anything. So, I tried to answer this huge question without any rules. It got messy. Then he kept laughing while I explained my solution. Every time I suggested something, he'd smile, chuckle, etc., in a really condescending way. He just seemed completely uninterested and rude. I felt like I was set up to fail. The other two interviews, with marketing and engineering people, were for fit and those were good. A week later, the recruiter called with feedback. Everything went well except the case study, so I didn't get the job. I wasn't shocked. Maybe the interviewer already had someone else in mind, but either way, that was a pretty bad way to interview people.

The first step was a quick call, about 5 minutes long, asking what I knew about the company. The interview was scheduled for 4 PM, but I showed up an hour early and we ended up doing it sooner. I interviewed with the manager of the area I'd be working in. It was a relaxed and not-too-long interview. Despite being nervous at first, I managed to keep calm. They gave me three tests: one in Portuguese, one logic test, and a community guidelines test. Some questions were about my resume and a few personal ones.
