They sent an assessment the day after I applied, which is hard to prep for. It had three timed sections. The first and third involved reading a long PDF (60+ pages) and answering questions about it, focusing on quickly finding and understanding info in dense documents. The second section used charts and text excerpts, testing data analysis and understanding of technical/business terms. Right after, I had to do a one-way interview, likely AI-proctored. It had about five behavioral questions, but I got time to think and could re-record answers within the hour slot, though I finished in 30 mins. About four business days later, I got invited for a human interview which went really well, the recruiter said so, and mentioned another round was coming. However, seven business days after that, I got a rejection email. I suspect it's because I'm overqualified with a master's and two years of experience for a temporary 6-month role, yet they still made candidates go through a lot.

After applying and doing a little test to see what research areas you did best with, I had a virtual interview that was one-way, just answering questions. Then, a one-on-one virtual interview with webcams where I actually talked to someone. After that, I got a call with an offer. The people were amazing and I enjoyed the whole process, though it was pretty lengthy and by the end, I was getting other offers which made me a bit less sure about them. They seem like a good company though, with good teams and good HR.

The interview itself felt pretty easy, especially if you'd studied up beforehand. They asked a lot of questions, and even though it was just the initial round, it felt like a final interview because of all the situational and behavioral questions. I was pretty put off by the company when they decided to move me to a role I hadn't even applied for, without telling me first. Then, weeks later, I didn't get accepted even though someone there said they'd be in touch after sorting out that issue.
