Applied for the role, had a nice call to set up a phone interview. I spoke with the head of Engineering, and it went really well, so I passed. Then I had a second, face-to-face interview where they asked about my experience, and I passed that too. A couple of months went by, and then I was told I didn't get the job, mostly because I don't have a degree. I asked for more feedback but I'm still waiting.

I passed the online interview and they seemed happy with my experience and skills, so they invited me for a company visit. The visit didn't involve many technical questions, and they mentioned HR would contact me about next steps, including visa processing. The team lead mentioned submitting a recruitment request for manager approval. I haven't heard back with a decision or feedback, and my travel expenses haven't been reimbursed.
