The interview process started with a phone interview. Then, I had an in-person interview where I actually got to chat with the CEO because I was an early hire. She shared her vision for the company, which is focused on helping nonprofits, which are major employers with significant funds but often lack good tech. During the in-person meeting, we talked about my skills, did a role-play of an inside sales call, and discussed the company's values and objectives.

My first interview was a 30-minute phone call with the CEO. She actually called 15 minutes late and didn't even apologize. For the first 7 minutes, she talked about herself and the company's accomplishments. I answered her two questions in 5 minutes, and then the call ended. I didn't get any response for weeks, even after I emailed and called multiple times. The CEO seems self-centered and the company lacks direction, so I'm glad I didn't proceed.

The whole thing took about three weeks. I had four phone interviews and then one in-person. The CEO was late to every single interview, and even an hour late to one of them. She didn't care much about my history, just wanted to know if I knew other CRM softwares and how I would sell Giveffect to a nonprofit. I was told that I would make significantly higher than I was offered.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was pretty straightforward. A couple of phone calls, which would be easy if you have call center experience or are used to being on the phone a lot! The only issue I had was that the pay listed on the website (which they tell you to check) isn't the same as what they actually offer you in the offer letter. That was the ONLY disappointing part of my whole interview.
