So first, it was like an informational session, and there were about 5 of us. They basically explained that we'd be doing check-in stuff, paid around $13 an hour, and with no real chance to move up for a long time. If we weren't cool with that, we could just leave. Then, for those of us who stayed, they had us do individual interviews with the volunteer management team. It was a bit of a wait because everyone had to go one by one, so it took a while. Honestly, they could've handled it better and respected our time more.

I showed up dressed nicely for my interview. They asked me a couple questions regarding my past experience and what my career aspirations were. The whole thing wrapped up in under 20 minutes. Right before I left, they offered me the job and I accepted.

The first step was a video interview where I answered questions using a link they sent. It was straightforward. Then I had a 20-minute Teams interview that felt really conversational and I connected well with the team. The questions were mainly situational and not too tough. My only issue was that they asked for salary expectations upfront, which wasn't in the job post. I gave my requirement, but the offer was over $10k less than that. It was also way lower than what other companies pay. It was disappointing because there was no room to negotiate, and it felt like a waste of time to interview me if they weren't going to meet my minimum requirements.

First, I did a recorded video interview where I answered some questions that were pre-recorded. After that, I had two in-person interviews. These were pretty average in difficulty and mostly involved personality and situational questions.
