I had a phone interview and then an in-person one at their LA office. They paid for my flight but I had to book my own tickets and then wait two days for my reimbursement check. The in-person part lasted two days and included a lunch interview at a restaurant where it was hard to hear. It started well, but the VP underestimated the pushback from the internal Estimators who seemed to resent interviewing their future manager. Things went from 'I should have an offer today' to 'We'll get your offer tomorrow' to 'We won't decide until later.' I didn't get the job. I suspect they were unsure about what they wanted and having employees interview their potential boss is a flawed approach.

I was referred, and they called me to come in person to the interview location, where I was asked various types of questions, like about my education, availability, working hours, who I live with... and I found the environment to be very calm and pleasant. I did the interview with two other participants.
