I had a group interview with some folks from the Marketing and Comms team. We went over the job description, and they asked about my start date and if I was cool with a hybrid setup. We also talked about my overall experience in digital marketing, managing websites, and email marketing.

The interview process was easygoing and personable from start to finish. The interviewer took the time to understand my background, asking thoughtful, open-ended questions about my experience. This approach created a relaxed, conversational atmosphere, making it feel more like a genuine discussion than a formal interview. The focus on my strengths and relevant skills was encouraging, and I appreciated the opportunity to share examples from my career in a comfortable setting. Overall, it left a positive impression and made the process enjoyable.

Saw the job posting on the company website and sent in my resume along with a brief intro letter I wrote. Got an invite to an informational session, which turned out to be a group interview. We heard about the role and work culture, then had to talk about ourselves and our motivations. Later, we were split into smaller groups for standard interview questions. A few days later, I had a second interview where I had to present an activity and answer more questions.

The interview process involved a phone screen that lasted about 20-30 minutes, followed by a virtual Zoom interview for about an hour. Then, there was an in-person interview with 2-3 leaders lasting around 1.5 hours. The whole thing concluded with a drug screen and background check. Honestly, this whole process felt like overkill for the role. I've heard from colleagues that some interviews for this position can even be two hours long, which I find concerning as interviews over an hour are a red flag for me.
