So first I had to do this long questionnaire, and then like two weeks later I had my first interview where they asked me about the questionnaire stuff. It was pretty chill and not too hard. Then like a week later, I got called for round 2, which I assumed was the last one since they didn't say anything else. A few days after that, they gave me an assignment. I felt pretty good about it, it was easy. I finished it and like a week later got rejected via email, no feedback, and they didn't reply when I asked for some.

Girl Power Talk has a thorough screening process, which speaks volume about the company's culture! The interview comprises of three rounds , first one being a set of questionnaire. The first round not only helps the company to know you better but also helps you self reflect! The second and third round comprises of video interviews with some assignments related to your position. The whole process is extremely smooth and well conducted. It was evident that the process is designed to ensure the right fit for both the company and the candidate.

I applied online through the Girl Power Talk website. About one to two weeks later, I got my first interview. My second interview was about a week after the first. Before applying, I checked out Girl Power Talk’s social media (YouTube, Instagram) and website articles. This was helpful because the application asks a lot of introspective questions, and knowing the company’s values helps you see where your values overlap with theirs. I actually enjoyed answering the many questions over the course of a week. Some questions were typical, like if I had any questions for them (which they answered during my interview!), but others were more reflective. I feel like I learned a lot about myself answering them; the application itself was rewarding. The Girl Power Talk team gave me extra links about the company before the interview, which were informative. The interview process was smooth and welcoming. My conversation with several Girl Power Talk members lasted about half an hour, and the vibe was more relaxed than other company interviews I’ve had. I’ve heard a founder or CEO sometimes attends, but not for me. I was surprised by how many different departments were represented by the interviewers (some were department heads!). Everyone actively participated and asked questions; nobody just took notes. Overall, the interview left me feeling energized, not drained like some other interviews have.

Girl Power Talk is an inclusive work environment that really assesses candidates through being the best filters available which helps one find the right fit for the culture and work that exists here. I was recently interviewed for the company which started with an amazing questionnaire that helped me understand myself even better and then the rounds of interviews were a learning experience. Round one helped me understand my professional inclination and my potential to explore other departments too. Round 2 was overwhelming and indeed made me comfortable with the culture and the people here. The questions in the interviews were different from the standard procedure. Each question has its purpose to assess a candidate's outlook toward issues that Girl Power Talk vocalizes. The overall experience has helped me grow as I could self-analyze my areas to work on and my strengths.
